thai traditional massage

Picture
This traditional Thai Massage is one of the world oldest healing techniques. It is a unique blend of massage, acupressure, reflexology and gentle passive yoga stretches which offers a preventative approach to health.

Thai massage uses passive stretching and gentle pressure along the body’s energy lines to increase flexibility, relieve muscle and joint tension and balance the body’s energy systems. Thai massage is both deeply relaxing and energizing.

It starts with the patient laying on their back, and the therapist uses gentle compression along the energy lines (Sen lines) and stretching techniques to open up the body, beginning with the legs and ending at the head.

Benefits from a session include: releasing stiff joints, relieving muscle tension, increasing range of motion, and reducing stress.
